This site archives e-prints of articles in the areas of physics, astronomy, mathematics, non-linear science, computer science and quantitative biology. The archive can be searched by clicking on the index link from the individual subject areas. The archive is owned and operated by Cornell University.

The HCI Bibliography is a free-access online bibliographic database on Human-Computer Interaction. The basic goal of the Project is to put an electronic bibliography for most of HCI on the screens of all researchers, developers, educators and students in the field through the World-Wide Web and anonymous FTP access.

InfoSci-Books is a fully searchable database providing access to chapters from every book and reference work IGI Global has published since the year 2000. IGI Global is a publisher of scholarly research on advanced computer science and information technology research with an especially strong focus on the role, impact, and effective use of technology across a variety of settings, including business, education, health care, government, and more. The database includes over 3,500 scholarly books, and includes major reference works. Individual titles can also be accessed through the library catalogue.

An online training database providing access to thousands of high-quality instructional videos on a broad range of topics in the areas of business, education, design, photography, programming, animation, video, audio and music. 

Makes discoverable over 70 years of research results from the Department of Energy (DOE) and its predecessor agencies.  Research results include journal articles/accepted manuscripts and related metadata; technical reports; scientific research datasets and collections; scientific software; patents; conference and workshop papers; books and theses; and multimedia.

Contains over 50 million articles from over 23,000 full text journals covering many disciplines.

Provides online access to over 2,000 journals published by Elsevier from their first volumes to current, with strong collections in the social sciences, pure and applied sciences, engineering, and medicine.  This service allows you to browse or search the journals and access full text articles (PDF & HTML).  McMaster has access to most, but not all journals on this site.

Springer offers full-text access to more than 1,700 journals covering disciplines in science, technology, health, engineering, environment, economics and law, with full coverage from v.1 onwards for most titles.  Along with journals, our access includes over 70,000 purchased e-books and conference proceedings published by Springer and related imprints.

A digital library of 50 to 100 page electronic books that synthesize important research or development topics, providing concise introductions to new fields and methods of staying current on developments at university, corporate, and government labs.  McMaster has purchased collections 1 through 9: green checkmarks indicate access. Individual titles are also accessible via the library catalogue.
