Access is available on and off campus to current McMaster University students, faculty and staff.
Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations.
To get links to full-text from your Google Scholar results (especially when off-campus), use the Google Scholar link with MAC ID login or set up your preferences in Google Scholar as follows:
- from the Google Scholar home page, select Settings (listed in the side menu)
- select Library links on the Scholar Settings page
- in the Library Links box, type mcmaster
- on the results list select McMaster University Library - get it @ Mac
- click Save
Your search results in Google Scholar will now have find it @ Mac and/or get it @ Mac links that you can click to get to the full-text in the Library's collection.
