About
The Lewis and Ruth Sherman Centre for Digital Scholarship (SCDS) is a research centre at McMaster University, located in Mills Memorial Library. The centre is a joint initiative of the McMaster University Libraries and McMaster University’s Faculty of Humanities and is made possible by a generous gift from the Lewis & Ruth Sherman Foundation.
We offer digital scholarship programming that supports learners at all levels and across disciplines. This includes hands-on workshops, online learning modules, academic courses, and a certificate of attendance program that complements our workshop series.
All programming at the SCDS is free and accessible to members of the McMaster community and the broader public. We are happy to work with students, faculty, staff, and community members. Simply get in touch by emailing scds@mcmaster.ca.
The Sherman Centre is located on the first floor of Mills Library at McMaster University. We are available by appointment.
