Pasha Malla has called east Hamilton home for the past six years and says he can’t imagine living anywhere else.

The friendly residents, lush greenspace and bustling streets have fostered an environment unlike any city he has lived prior.

Malla has become a fixture in Gage Park, where he can often be found walking with his best friend, a gregarious rescue dog named Bobby.

While he admits that Bobby is more famous locally than he or his partner, Vanessa, what many passersby may not know is that Malla is also an accomplished author.

LinkedIn Learning will continue to be available to the McMaster University community for the next three years.

The university’s access was set to expire this summer, but the renewal means that active McMaster students, faculty and staff will continue to have free, unlimited usage of this resource.

McMaster University Libraries are preparing to reopen and welcome the McMaster community back for the fall term.

Extensive planning has occurred towards reopening Mills, H.G. Thode and Health Sciences libraries to create a safe and welcoming environment for both users and library staff.

McMaster University Library has grown its electronic resources during the pandemic, providing access to a treasure trove of materials for students, faculty and staff.

Electronic resources, or eResources, include such materials as electronic journals, databases, electronic books (e-books), streaming videos and audio, and more.

If you are a McMaster University student looking for meaningful employment for the 2021-22 academic year, you will want to consider working at McMaster University Library.

The library is hiring a number of student positions, all of which will be posted on August 10, 2021 on Mosaic, through McMaster’s student work program.

As McMaster University Library plans to reopen Mills Memorial Library and H.G. Thode Library of Science and Engineering on Sept. 7, 2021, the return to pre-pandemic access to the book collections comes with an important change.

Dilin Simon was raised in a Caribbean household with strong ties to her relatives from the island of Antigua, but she has always yearned to learn more about the historical foundations of her family.

Simon, who is studying human behaviour with an early childhood education specialization at McMaster University, said her interest was piqued when she saw a new intersession course, the Black Caribbean and its Diasporas, being offered this spring.

The four-week course would prove a pivotal moment in her learning at McMaster.

Nine McMaster University faculty members are receiving grants to support eight projects that will foster the creation and integration of free, high-quality online textbooks and other digital educational materials.

McMaster University Library joined the celebration of International Kelmscott Press Day by giving the community a peek into its collection of rare books.
