May 2024: Industrials (B2B) module for all countries added to Passport.
Passport is a global market research database providing statistics, analysis and insights on industries, consumers, economies and companies in approximately 200 countries worldwide.
The Library subscribes to the following modules in Passport:
- Industries
- B2C (Business to Consumer) - includes global statistics and analysis for 26 major consumer industries; covers industries in appliances and electronics, drinks, food and nutrition, health and beauty, home products, luxury and fashion, nicotine and cannabis, services and more. Contains market sizes, company shares, brand shares, distribution channels and profiles of leading companies and their brands.
- B2B (Business to Business) - breaks down the global economy into 177 different industry sectors from a B2B perspective. Data and analysis is provided for agriculture, mining and energy, construction, manufacturing activities, transportation services, ICT (information and communication technology) services, business services and more. Key data metrics include production, markets sizes, firmographics, imports and exports, attractiveness index, industry costs and profitability, and digital business.
- Consumers - contains data and analysis on consumer trends and lifestyles including habits, attitudes, opinions, values, behaviours and motivations, along with demographics, households, income and expenditure patterns.
- Economies (Countries) - provides global economic, demographic and marketing data and analysis for hundreds of countries. PEST (Political, Economic, Social and Technological) analysis reports for countries are also included.
- Cities - covers socioeconomic data and analysis on over 1,200 cities worldwide
