Most of the information in the table below was transcribed from a card catalogue maintained in the Russell archives reading room. Further enhancement of some of these descriptions is expected. Meanwhile, in some cases, the description was enhanced with information recorded in Russell: the Journal of Bertrand Russell Studies (indicated by RJ references in the table, i.e. volume and issue number).
Arranged alphabetically by ‘Primary subject of photo’. Where the primary subject repeats—e.g. ‘Russell, Bertrand’—further arrangement is by ‘Date’. Several photographs include multiple individuals; in these cases, only one individual is listed under ‘Primary subject’, while the others are listed in ‘Description’.

Perhaps they remained at the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation and were shipped with Edith’s papers. When S. Turcon described those papers she may not have recognized what these photographs were.
