Abstract

This data set can be used to identify the location of a resting area, which is a polygon feature that identifies an area where a certain species is known to habitually sleep or rest.

Different Resting Area types collected by the Natural Resources Values Information System (NRVIS) include:

  • Osprey Resting Area

    • Supplementary tables can be used and are available for download from the additional documentation section. Supplementary look-up table descriptions are available in the data description document, which is available for download from the additional documentation section.
