Canadian Intercollegiate Athletic Union (CIAU), founded in 1906 and in existence until 1955, was made up of only universities from Ontario and Quebec. A.A. Burridge, E.T. Salmon, and Ivor Wynne were among McMaster’s representatives at the meetings of the union.
