The Digital Raster Acquisition Project Eastern Ontario (DRAPE) 2024 is an aerially-acquired imagery data set. It covers approximately 35,993 square kilometres including parts of Eastern Ontario, Peterborough, Kingston, Ottawa, Pembroke and Cornwall.
The images were acquired by aerial photography in the spring of 2024 (March 12th - May 31st 2024), under the best conditions possible to achieve cloud free, snow free, ice free, smoke free and leaf off/low leaf captures.
This product is 4 band RGBN orthophotography at 8-bit depth, with a pixel resolution of 16 cm and it is accurate to within 45 cm on the ground at 95% confidence. It was later orthorectified using an elevation dataset generated through image correlation.
To view the entire acquisition area, please visit the Ontario Geospatial Hub (see Related Links) or download the Index shapefile (zip) under Additional Documentation.
