All We Have Left, Is This Materials. – 2018. – 85 illustrated pages; 2 LaserJet-printed facsimiles of original pages.
Series contains Nickerson’s original artwork for the first edition of her comic All We Have Left, Is This. Nickerson tended to create illustration pages for stories on 11 x 15” paper using watercolour, ink, and gouache. Panels are usually borderless, and all illustrations are in colour unless otherwise noted. Most pages are hand inked, lettered, and coloured. The arrangement of panels in the final, published volume may differ from their placement in the original artwork.
Nearly all original artwork for the volume is included in this series, except for three pages held by private collectors: two pages for the “Pinball” story and the final page of “Mary Midgley.”
