Listing. The Several Plans and Drawings Referred to in the Third Report from the Select Committee of the House of Commons upon the Improvement of the Port of London

Plate I. The title line above the image is missing but the plate has been identified as Plate I in pencil and corresponds to the description in the accompanying Broadside under the heading Appendix to Mr. Mylne's Report. The plate consists of four parts as follows.
a. Section of the Locks, and Construction of the Piers of London Bridge.
b. Soundings in May 1767, along the Middle Line of the River, and through the Great Arch.
c. Profile down the middle of the River Thames at low still water passing through the Great Arch of London Bridge, taken in the year 1767.
d. Measurements across the river, and Proportion of the Piers, &c. to the Arches; and soundings at London Bridge, 1767.

Plate II. Plan for a bridge to be erected on the Foundations of the present [London] Bridge; having its Centre Arch, of lron, 300 Feet span between London & Blackfriars Bridge, R. Dodd Engineer. Plate size 35 x 25 inches.
Plate III. Design for a Stone Bridge of Five Arches to permit shipping to pass under its centre Arch with views of the proposed Embankments & Fire proof Warehouses above them. By D. Dodd Engineer, 1799. Plate size 35 x 25 inches.
Plate IV. An Elevation of Fire proof Warehouses, built on Iron Pillars to admit Carts under them, by R. Dodd, Engineer 1800. Plate size 35 x 25 ½ inches.
