Correspondence. -- 1912-1987; 1971-1987 predominant. -- 1.3 m of textual records and graphic materials.
Note: The correspondence had been stored in disarray for several years. Brief correspondences generally have been grouped together alphabetically followed by individual files. Original McFadden files retained include reading arrangements (Box 35, F.17) and the invented poets' correspondence (Box 37). All first names that could be identified have been placed with their appropriate authors although some misidentifications may have occurred. Unidentified first names and illegible names are located at the end of series, as is the invented poets' correspondence. There is also a file of electronic mail from 1986-1987 at the end of the series which should be consulted by researchers. Cross references to it have not been provided. Correspondence consists of both incoming and outgoing letters.
