Photograph album, no covers. Photographs have been removed from the
pages and placed in archival sleeves. Many of the photographs have descriptive
captions written on the verso. A few photographs identified by archival
staff have captions written in pencil inside square brackets.

Gee-Bee R-1 racing plane belonging to Jimmy Doolittle (1896-1993; American
aviation pioneer), 1932
Mary Mae Haizlip (aviation pioneer), with her plane
Various planes at the National Air races in Cleveland, Ohio, 1932; also
photographs of the city; flight to Cleveland
Wiley Hardeman Post (1898-1935; the first pilot to fly solo around the
world). Visit to Kitchener, Ont. with his plane, the Winnie Mae,
early 1930s.
