Fonds - Brief Description

Church of the Resurrection (Thorold, Ont.) fonds. -- 1957-2001. -- 9 cm of textual records.

The Church of the Resurrection was established in 1958 when the new Parish took possession of the former Ukranian Labour Hall. The hall was transformed into the church and was consecrated by Bishop Walter P. Bagnall in October of 1960. The first Rector was Lorne Myers. The church was disestablished by Bishop Spence on June 27, 2001.

The fonds consists of statistical records on baptisms, marriages and burials as well as general records, made up of service and vestry books. The fonds has been microfilmed on 1 reel, numbered 398.
