Writing a Research Question

In collaboration with Professor Lana Wylie (Department of Political Science), Ben Lee Taylor (Writing Support, Student Success Centre) will guide students through some approaches to developing and writing an effective research question. This interactive workshop will introduce and incorporate brainstorming exercises, strategies for narrowing your research focus, examples of how to structure and articulate your question, and more. This session is intended for graduate students and some of the content leans toward the social sciences.
