Starting university can feel overwhelming, but the library is here to help you succeed. In this 30-minute orientation session, new undergraduate students will be introduced to McMaster University Library's key services, resources, and study spaces. Participants will learn where to find academic sources, get research and citation support, book study rooms, and make the most of library technology and learning services. The session will also highlight where to go for help throughout the academic year and provide practical tips for navigating library resources with confidence.
Whether you're new to university research or simply want to know what support is available, this session will help you get started and feel more prepared for your first year at McMaster.
