A student-led study group designed to manage time pressure and anxiety.
For lots of us, getting started on a project and staying focused can feel overwhelming. The Pomodoro Technique breaks your productivity session into manageable bites to improve focus, decrease mental fatigue and increase your endurance. Pomo Cafés are a cozy, structured studying and productivity space designed to help you get locked in.
Join us in applying the Pomodoro Technique, which promotes productivity and prevents burnout! Drop in anytime on Thursdays from 11am until 2pm in Mills Library for a structured, cozy, and refreshing study session. From 11-11:30am we’ll have some community building and a brief academic skills lesson led by our Peer Leaders and Academic Peer Mentors. Then from 11:30am onward we’ll have structured focused work time, breaks and optional drop in Academic Peer Mentoring available.
This café-style study space will feature cozy vibes, free tea and coffee, snacks, and healthy study habits!
