Loud conversation, offensive language, rowdy or disruptive behaviour is prohibited in all library spaces. During Exam Periods, designated Quiet Study areas are established (Mills: 3rd - 6th Floors; Thode: basement.)
Conversation is not permitted at any time in designated Silent Study areas (Mills - 6th floor, Thode - Silent Study Room on the lower level).
If unable to resolve noise issues in Silent Study areas on your own, you are welcome to report infractions to quiet@mcmaster.ca or complete the form below. We will do our best to send staff to respond right away.
If the problem is occurring after normal closing hours, primarily during late night exam studying periods, please report any problems directly to the Security Guards on duty in the Mills Learning Commons and Thode Library.
