Published continuously since 1949, The Current Digest of the Russian Press (formerly The Current Digest of the Soviet Press and The Current Digest of the Post-Soviet Press) is a primary source for Soviet and Russian studies. It provides weekly selections of Russian-language press materials translated into English, covering political, social, and international affairs. Drawing from a broad spectrum of sources and perspectives, the publication documents historical developments and contemporary issues in Russia and the post-Soviet region. Intended for teaching and research, the translations are presented without editorial commentary and reflect the views of the original authors rather than those of the publisher.
