Connecting Research Impact: Research Data Management Community of Practice

Co-hosted with Research Impact and Bibliometrics Librarian Jack Young, this session will get into the Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) which McMaster is poised to sign and the Tri-Agencies (SSHRC, CIHR, and NSERC) are in the process of implementing. Are you with a Core Facility? Come discuss persistent identifiers for instrumentation and research organization registry identifiers for your platform. Are you a researcher? Come discuss Open Researcher and Contributor IDs (ORCIDs) and how get credit for your non-traditional research objects or the data you've been sharing.
