(Nov 1/11) I love the fact that there are places for silent study in mills, like the 6th floor. The only problem is people do not know what silent means. Would it be possible to have staff patrol silent study areas to remind people to be quiet?
Library response: We do try and patrol these areas, but often the noise level rises again as soon as the staff leave. We are working on creating more truly SILENT study spaces, with doors, which make it easier to monitor. The only area we currently have like this is on the 4th floor, down the ramp on the east end, room L405. Perhaps you would like to give this area a try?
