The Made by Mac Creative Challenge begins on Thursday, January 1, 2009! Enter your original digital art, podcasts, websites, great pieces of writing and anything else you can make on an Macintosh computer to win one of the great prizes, including an Apple MacBook!

As an added bonus, students who incorporate any of the digital materials found on the Library's Peace and War in the 20th Century web site will be eligible to win an iPod Touch.

Students will have the opportunity to vote on-line to determine the five semi-finalists who will go head-to-head in front of a live panel of judges, with the grand prize of a brand new 2.0 GHz Apple MacBook on the line. The first runner up will be awarded a Nintendo DS Lite game console, and the second runner up will receive a $50 gift card for Titles Bookstore.

On-line voting opens January 26 and the live finale is scheduled to be held on February 11, so make it cool, make it creative and make it on a Mac! For help creating your project, drop in to one of the following Multimedia Clinics being held in the Wong classroom (L107) in Mills Library:
