Stressed about exams? Today is the last day for pet visits!

From December 5-19, SHEC has teamed up with on and off-campus organizations to bring students stress-reducing events, including animal visits in Mills Library! The Hamilton-Burlington SPCA has generously agreed to bring in animals like dogs and guinea pigs for stressed-out students on December 7, 12 and 17 from 1 – 2 pm in Mills Library, Room L113 (just off the main floor lobby).

Other events include daily fair-trade coffee and hot chocolate socials hosted by OPIRG and the Chaplaincy Centre and a free yoga class run by Moksha Yoga. McMaster Athletics and Recreation will be holding yoga sessions specifically geared towards exam relaxation and the Pulse’s climbing wall is open every day. There are also events happening off-campus like the James Street Art Crawl that would be great study breaks!

If you want to talk to someone about stress management or any other personal or health related topics, SHEC will have peer-support hours from 11 am-3 pm daily in MUSC 202.

Remember that taking a break while studying helps you come back more refreshed and productive. For a more details including full list of events, visit www.msumcmaster.ca/shec
