Art Abstracts

Contains over 1.8 million searchable abstracts of articles from over 500 international art publications, including periodicals, yearbooks, and museum bulletins published in English and other European languages, with broad coverage of the visual arts including new artists, contemporary art, exhibition reviews, and feminist criticism.
Art reproductions that illustrate articles and advertisements are also indexed. For example, if a painting appears in an advertisement, Art Index provides the artist’s name, the title of the work, and a full bibliographic citation.
