Millwrights Union. Machine Movers and Erectors. Local 1916. (Hamilton, Ont.) collection. - 1964-1982; 1977-1980 predominant. - 12.5 cm of textual records and realia.

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America was first formed in the United States in 1881. On 25 March 1958 it granted a charter to Local 1916, effective 1 April of that year. The collection consists of various items belonging to Charles T. Taylor, a union member, including financial statements, minutes, and correspondence.

Title based on content of collection.
Collection (05-2000) was acquired from Ontario Workers Arts and Heritage Centre in February 2000. It had been donated to the Centre by Mrs. Cynthia Taylor.

There are no access restrictions.
