McFarlane, John Henry

John Henry McFarlane fonds. -- [19--]. -- 2 cm of textual records.

John Henry McFarlane was born in Lanark, Ontario on 31 July 1879. He was the father of the author Leslie McFarlane, best known for his Hardy Boys series written under the pseudonym Franklin W. Dixon, and the grandfather of Brian McFarlane, author and broadcaster. McFarlane died in Haileybury, Ontario 3 January 1939.

There is one accrual which consists of an undated 52 p memoir.

The fonds (19-2001) was acquired from Brian McFarlane in May and June 2001.
