Stanley and Evelyn Mann fonds. [191-]-1944. 6 cm of textual
records and graphic material.
Stanley Mann was born in Toronto, the son of Thomas Dickinson Mann and
Helen Mann. He married Evelyn Austin on 9 August 1941. Enlisting in
June 1942, he became a navigator in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Killed
on 16 July 1944 during a training flight, he was buried in the Chester
(Blacon) cemetery in England.
The fonds consists of personal documents relating to Evelyns education
and marriage, personal and official correspondence, and photographs
ranging from Stanley and Evelyns childhoods to Stanley
Manns funeral.
