Alfred Beverley Brewer fonds. – 1932-1940. – 6.5 cm of textual records and graphic material.

Sgt. Major Alfred Beverley Brewer made a career in the military. He was the Sgt. Major of the 79th Field Battery of the Royal Canadian Artillery Regiment in 1932. He was chosen to be part of the Canadian Coronation Contingent (Militia Detachment) which travelled to Great Britain for the coronation of King George VI in May 1937. He served with the Royal Canadian Artillery Regiment during World War II.

The fonds consists of photographs, post-card letters, and printed documents, relating to his military career. Batteries included in this fonds are: 79th Field Battery, 27th and 51st Anti-Tank Battery, 90th Battery, also the 6th Field BDE, and Troops A and C.

Title based on content of the fonds.
Fonds (19-2003) was purchased from the Alexander Gallery in June 2003.
