(Mar 31/13) 24 hour quiet study space...Is that so much for ask for? Emphasis on QUIET. Considering
how much it costs to study at this university I expect to be provided with a quiet
place to study at night. I thought it was something really obvious, after all it is a
Library response: As we get closer to exams we will be providing more 24/7 study hours. The quietest study space will be available at Thode Library, which moves to 24/7 on Wednesday April 10th.
The Mills Learning Commons is already 24/5, moving to 24/7 on Sunday April 7th. We recognize that this space is normally not quiet, but it does get quieter the closer we get to exams.
The main part of Mills Library moves to extended hours (8am to 11pm) from April 7th to April 30th. The entire 6th floor of Mills is SILENT at all times. There is also a very large QUIET study area on the west side of the 4th floor, down the ramp off the New Media Centre lobby.
We hope everyone will be able to find the perfect study space for your own needs.
Good luck on your exams! (Apr 1/13)
