- for staff at circulation desk, particularly when close to the reserve room, to be aware of volume of their converstation. It travels into quiet study area of the reserve room. Its also good for staff to set a model of behaviour for patrons to follow!

Thank you for your feedback. I have discussed this matter with the staff. Going forward, they will do their best to keep conversations to a minimum. You are correct in your statement about modeling good behaviour. Unfortunately, because there is no door on the area sound travels from both the lobby and service desk.
