(Mar 2/09) I feel frustrated by the loud music and continuous announcements that are made prior to the library closing. If the library is open until 5:45 then please give us the courtesy of being able to work until then.
Library response: Thanks for your comment. While we understand the announcements and music may be somewhat disruptive, they have proven to be quite necessary in getting our users prepared to get packed up and ready to leave the building when it closes. When we start clearing the building many people have not made any attempt to leave which means the staff must then start pushing them to do so, which no one likes either. We welcome any suggestions to make this process better! (Mar 5/09)
