Energy Citations contains bibliographic records for energy and energy-related scientific and technical information from the Department of Energy (DOE) and its predecessor agencies, the Energy Research & Development Administration (ERDA) and the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). The Database provides access to DOE publicly available citations from 1948 through the present, with continued growth through regular updates. Energy Citations includes bibliographic records of literature in disciplines of interest to DOE such as chemistry, physics, materials, environmental science, geology, engineering, mathematics, climatology, oceanography, computer science and related disciplines. The International Nuclear Information System (INIS) is an international bibliographic database containing over 3 million references covering all aspects of the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology, with an emphasis on engineering, energy, safety and life sciences. INIS contains information in many languages. All records describing non-English documents include an English translation of the title. English abstracts are included for 85% of the database. The original text of the non-conventional literature is available from the INIS Clearinghouse in both electronic and microfiche forms.

Inspec is a bibliographic database that indexes world-wide literature on physics, astronomy/astrophysics, electronics, electrical engineering, control theory and technology, computers and computing, information technology, manufacturing and production engineering and materials science. The types of literature indexed and abstracted include journal articles, conference proceedings, books, reports and dissertations. The database is available from 1969 onwards and is updated weekly.
