Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) - Mapping the Universe

The Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) provides a massive, publicly available, three-dimensional digital map of the universe, covering over one-third of the sky. It creates detailed, multi-color images and spectra for hundreds of millions of astronomical objects, enabling studies of galaxy evolution, dark energy, and the Milky Way's structure. 

DR19 is the second data release for the fifth phase of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS-V). Its content is described in detail on the DR19 data release paper.
