Records in the series were created or collected by Krakowski during the course of his involvement with various Canadian unions and labour-related projects. Records cover the following: Krakowski’s employment as a regional representative for the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC); his involvement with the National Association of Pensioners of the PSAC (NAPPSAC); his membership in CULE, a union representing PSAC employees; his service as a representative of the Commonwealth Trade Union Council to the Caribbean region (1987-1988); his role as an external labour representative to the Humber College Board of Governors (1993-1999); his service on the Board of Directors for Labour Community Services, a joint project of Toronto and York Region Labour Council and United Way (2001-2009); and his attendance at conferences and conventions hosted by Ontario Public Service Employees Union (1978) and the International Federation of Workers’ Educational Associations (1992).
