ClimateQUAL
Project Objectives
· Prepare the organization for conducting ClimateQUAL in February 2012.
· Analyze the results. Identify 3 – 5 areas for priority action.
· Prepare an action plan for consideration by the Library Leadership Team for:
o resolving identified issues
o drilling deeper into areas where more information is required.

Project Scope
- Staff to be included in the survey: all permanent staff; all contract staff who have worked in the library for a minimum of 6 months; student assistants are excluded.
Project Risks (circumstances or events outside the project team's control that will have a high adverse impact on the project if they occur)
- Failure to get Research Ethics clearance in time (low risk)
Obstacles/Constraints(known constraints imposed by environment, management, etc.)
- Low response rate. Do not expect this obstacle is very likely.
Critical Milestones
· Library Leadership Team finalizes the project statement and membership (Dec. 6, 2011)
· Research Ethics Board application submitted (Dec. 16, 2011)
· Provide Association of Research Libraries with decisions re incentives, staff counts, demographic worksheets, etc. (Jan 30th, 2012)
· Staff information sessions (February 8 and 9, 2012 )
· Survey runs (Feb. 13 to Mar 4, 2012))
· Prizes awarded (March 12, 2012)
· Complete post survey administrative questionnaire (Mar.19, 2012)
· Survey results received (week of March 26, 2012)
· Analysis of results. Preparation of recommendations to LLT (June 1, 2012)
· Staff sessions (July / August 2012)
