Policies and Regulations
All campus libraries adhere to a set of general Regulations, developed by the University Libraries Committee and approved by the Senate, to maintain the security and accessibility of library collections and services for the benefit of the McMaster community. Basic expectations for acceptable behaviour can be found under the Regulations Governing Personal Behaviour.
The libraries also observe all applicable legislation, including the Canadian Copyright Act, licensing agreements with vendors of electronic products, and ORION Guidelines governing access to the Internet.
