Members of the McMaster University community can now access the complete editorial pages of the magazine published since January 1993 in high-quality PDF files.

The Health Sciences Library will be closed on Saturday, 2 October 2004, because of a scheduled electical power outage in our area of the Health Sciences Centre.
Because of the power outage, the Health Sciences Library web server and our homepage may be out of service throughout the day. Patrons are reminded that they can still access all our electronic resources by going through MORRIS, or through the e-Resources database during any period in which our home page may be unavailable.
We regret the inconvenience to patrons caused by necessary annual maintenance of the electrical system in the hospital.
We are open regular hours on Friday, the 1st of October, and again on Sunday, the 3rd of October. Complete information about our regular hours of service can be obtained here.
Welcome to the redesigned Library News & Events page. Library News & Events is now being published in Weblog (or "blog") format with a variety of new and useful features:
- All Library news stories are now archived by date and category.
- A new search feature allows you to search through the archives, or you can browse by date and category.
- RSS Feeds ("Rich Site Summary" or "Really Simple Syndication") are available for all Library news or for specific categories of news items.
Due to essential maintenance the Royal Society of Chemistry's Web Services the RSC web site, including its online journals and databases will be unavailable on Wednesday 15 September from 12:30pm to 3:00pm.
The Library has recently upgraded its Global Books in Print subscription to include over 500,000 full-text reviews. GBIP lists over 9 million English language book, audio book, and video titles published in the U.S., Canada, Great Britain, New Zealand and Australia.
The CCH database HRWorks has been renamed BusinessWorks. The content has largely remained the same - it provides access to current information on Canadian employment standards, human rights and equity issues, employment insurance and labour relations. Also includes full text access to Canadian Labour Law Cases and Labour Notes.
The Library now has an online subscription to CARD (Canadian Advertising Rates & Data). It lists over 4,300 Canadian print, broadcast, outdoor and online media, including current data on advertising rates and circulation as well as key contacts, advertising agency personnel and major industry associations. It also includes editorial profiles of periodicals in Canada (click on the Publications Profile tab) and Canadian market statistics, customs regulations, and more (click on the Stats & Facts tab).
A current print copy of CARD will continue to be available in INNIS Reference HF 5801.C35. Back issues are available in MILLS Periodicals at the same call number.
The Library now subscribes to all three components of SourceOECD - Books, Periodicals, and Statistics. SourceOECD is the online publications portal of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. The site contains international publications and statistics on a wide variety of subjects including business, economics, employment,finance, health, investment, and telecommunications. Coverage is available from 1998 to the present.
