Library acquires new edition of the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography , including online access for one year
The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography is an illustrated collection of 50,000 specially written biographies of the men and women who shaped all aspects of Britain's past, from the fourth century BC to the year 2000. Now, after twelve years' work, involving over 10,000 people, writing and editing 60 million words to produce a 60 volume book, and a website with over 100,000 pages, the Oxford DNB was published on 23 September 2004. The print set can be found in the Reference Department of Mills Library (Call No: DA 28 .O95 2004). The library is also entitled to access the online version for one year.
CIAO [Columbia International Affairs Online] is the most comprehensive source for theory and research in international affairs. It publishes a wide range of scholarship from 1991 onward that includes working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from NGOs, foundation-funded research projects, proceedings from conferences, books, journals and policy briefs.

Naxos Music Library is the most comprehensive collection of classical music available online. It includes the complete Naxos, Marco Polo and Dacapo catalogues of over 85,000 tracks, including Classical music, Jazz, World, Folk and Chinese music. Users can read notes on the works being played as well as biographical information on composers or artists in Naxos's extensive database.
The library now has access to the complete suite of titles offered by Taylor & Francis, including those publishers who are part of the Taylor & Francis Group: Brunner-Routledge, Carfax Publishing Company, Frank Cass Publishers, Martin Dunitz Publishers, Parthenon Publishing, Psychology Press, Routledge, and Spon Press.
Communication Abstracts is a comprehensive source of information about communication-related publications on a world-wide scale. Communication Abstracts covers communication-related articles, reports, papers, and books from a variety of publishers, research institutions, and information sources.
