Description:
- Census division (CD) is the general term applied to areas which fall
in size between muncipalities (Census Subdivisions) and the province
level . They are roughly the size of counties and regional municipalities.

how this geographical unit is defined (Statistics Canada catalogue
no. 92-351)
Boundary files are available for 1991 and 1996 Census.
