I'm off campus. How do I get the "Get it @ Mac" links to appear in Google Scholar?

To get access to documents you find in Google Scholar that are McMaster-only, if you're off campus:

  • go to the Google home page
  • at the top of the screen click on More, and choose Scholar
  • at the top right of the screen, click on the cog/wheel icon and select Scholar Preferences
  • type mcmaster in the 'Library Links' section, and select McMaster University Library - get it @ Mac
  • click Save preferences
  • start searching with links to McMaster Library's resources (you may need to authenticate yourself using your MAC ID to access these resources)
