After running for two years, our pilot of the Ebook Library short-term loan program has concluded. The results are now being reviewed by the e-book Working Group. The Group is made up of representatives from all four McMaster libraries and will investigate how the libraries can best use EBL to complement our other e-book packages. We would like to thank everyone who used these e-books and provided feedback.

The first books to be scanned as part of the Library's mass digitization program are now available to McMaster students, faculty, and staff.

These titles, which date from the 16th- to 18th-centuries and include works in English, French, Spanish, and Latin, were drawn from the holdings of the Library's William Ready Division of Archives and Research Collections. Announcement about CINAHL

Filed under Library News:  e-Resources Web Resources

As of August 31st, 2008, CINAHL will have a different look and feel as it moves from Ovid to EBSCO. The EBSCO search interface is different from Ovid, but the content of CINAHL itself will not change.

This change is a result of EBSCO purchasing the CINAHL database.

To try the new interface, click here: CINAHL through EBSCO

From now through the end of August, we will have access to CINAHL through both Ovid and EBSCO, so you can test out the EBSCO interface before the Ovid one is gone.
