In order to more fully test the ELM learning management system, students and instructors are being asked to log onto the system between 10 am - 1 pm on Saturday, September 26th. Users will still encounter slowdowns, but in order for the system provider to complete the next phase of its work to bring ELM back to its full capability, it is important to have a significant number of users accessing the system.
The content management system that powers library.mcmaster.ca (Drupal) is overdue for a much-needed plumbing upgrade. We're planning to upgrade the system on Tuesday, August 18th, between 18:00-20:00, during which time the library website will be unavailable. The Health Sciences Library website and the Library Catalogue will still be available during this time.

Should books be banned? What about bottled water? Ebsco's Canadian Points of View Reference Centre provides point-counterpoint overviews of controversial topics along with a selection of fulltext articles drawn from Canadian and international magazines and newspapers.
