It covers aging-related issues for professionals in aging services, health, business, law, and mental health; also includes selected consumer content.

AgeLine summarizes articles from over 200 journals and magazines, books and book chapters, government and research reports, dissertations, conference proceedings, gray literature, newsletters, and educational videos. Topics include demographics, economics, employment, health and health care services, housing, intergenerational relationships, social and family relationships, psychological aspects, retirement, transportation, consumer aspects, and leisure; does not cover clinical medicine or biological and physiological aspects of aging.

Searches can be restricted to research or public policy publications, professional/provider publications, or general/consumer publications by using the Target Audience index in the Advanced Search option.
