The NASA Scientific and Technical Information (STI) Program's mission is to collect, archive, and disseminate NASA aerospace information, and locate domestic and international STI pertinent to NASA's missions and Strategic Enterprises.Examples of NASA's STI include research reports, journal articles, conference and meeting papers, technical videos, mission-related operational documents, and preliminary data. NASA's technical information is available via the NASA Technical Report Server (NTRS) to provide students, educators, and the public access to NASA's technical literature. NASA citations and full-text documents found on NTRS are unli mited, unclassified, and publicly available.NTRS also collects scientific and technical information from sites external to NASA to broaden the scope of information available to users. ODESI: a Voyage in Data Discovery

Provides university researchers with access to datasets in a web-based data extraction system, and allows the downloading of data into external statistical analysis packages. The odesi project targets Statistics Canada datasets, datafiles from Gallup Canada and other polling companies, public-domain files such as the Canadian National Election Surveys and selected files from the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR). As of May 2008, content is still being added.

Online geographical bibliography
Coverage:1985 - 2005

GEOBIB indexes international literature on all aspects of geography. It includes references to books, articles, atlases, maps, pamphlets and other publications under both topical and regional subjects. Updated in part by Current Geographical Publications. Bibliography covering the period up to 1976 is available in paper format as the Research Catalogue of the American Geographical Society (MILLS Bookstacks ZG 58.A5).

As of December 2005 The American Geographical Society has ceased adding new content to GEOBIB, but the database will remain available indefinitely.

The site indexes and provides access to over 1.6 million electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs) freely available from over 800 institutions worldwide. Oral History Online is a landmark database of English language oral histories. It contains at present more than 30,000 pages of full-text content that is available nowhere else in electronic format, much of which is available nowhere else in any format. This full-text material includes Ellis Island oral history narratives, exclusive Black Panther Party interviews, and other oral histories. With each quarterly update of Oral History Online, the publisher will add more of such proprietary (in-copyright) full-text interviews.

Complete text of the 20-volume Second Edition, first published in 1989, together with its 3-volume Additions Series, published in 1993 (volumes 1 and 2) and 1997 (volume 3). The OED is currently being revised, with the aim of producing a completely updated third edition by the year 2010. Draft material from the revision programme will also be published online, representing the latest progress towards the new edition. Photographic Portraits of American Artists

This unique group of 4,700 photographs records a broad range of artists working in the United States during the first three quarters of the twentieth century. Created by the fine art photography firm Peter A. Juley & Son (active 1896-1975). Highlights of the collection include portraits of Thomas Hart Benton, Selma Burke, Alexander Calder, Edward Hopper, Frida Kahlo, Yasuo Kuniyoshi, Jacob Lawrence, Barnett Newman, Diego Rivera and Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Many of the images show artists in their studios or at home with their families and offer interesting glimpses into the artistic and social climate in which they worked. The collection also contains hundreds of group photographs documenting activities at the National Academy of Design and Art Students League in New York City as well as the summer art colonies at Provincetown, Old Lyme, Woodstock, and Ogunquit.
