Produced by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), JCR Web provides access to citation data that helps evaluate and compare scholarly journals in the areas of science, technology, and social sciences. Journals can be retrieved by subject area, country or publisher and sorted by one of the following criteria:
Total Cites - identifies the most cited or frequently used journals
Impact Factor - identifies which journals received the highest average citations per recent article in a particular year
Immediacy Hot Index - identifies journals whose current articles are cited quickly
Current Articles - identifies which journals published the greatest number of articles in the current data year, regardless of how frequently the journal was cited
Cited Half Life - identifies the age of the majority of cited articles published in a journal
JCR Web is divided into two separate editions: Science and Social Sciences.
