The Writers' Union of Canada

Second accrual. -- 1974-1990 -- 7.1 m of textual records (boxes 92-114).
Some printed material from this accession, in particular runs of periodicals, have been catalogued separately, and are located in Mills Research Collections or Mills Periodicals. In certain cases when duplication occurred or when the printed material was deemed unsuitable for research purposes, the items were discarded. Archival documents pertaining to the working staff at the Union's office were destroyed as confidential waste.
The accrual has been arranged into five series: Government and External Organizations; Outgoing Chronological Correspondence; Annual General Meetings; National Council; and Committees.
