Group 1
Photographs, engravings, and periodical clippings concerning various opera performances. Many of these illustrations are for use in E.W. White’s book on the history of English opera.

Group 2
The Wreckers by Ethel M. Smyth
Collection of photographs pasted in booklet. The photos are of the Cornish coast for use in making sets.

Group 3
Illustrations and portraits of operas and composers, as well as some clippings from publications, a playbill for Daughter of St. Mark 1844, and covers from the scores of operas.
