Insurance Commission, and the Workmen's Compensation Board.

F.1 Personal correspondence 1940-1944, 1959. File contains letters to
Burniston and his mother from his foster brother who served in the Royal
Canadian Air Force, and from friends with the Royal Air Force and Royal
Canadian Navy; Burniston's correspondence with the National Selective
Service with postponement orders, Victory Loan coupons and certificates,
beer and gasoline ration coupons, wartime industrial transit permit, list
of wedding donations. Also in the file is a 1959 letter purportedly from
an Irish cousin, but more likely written as a parody of the Irish.
