Reproduction of Materials Policy

Reproduction of items is possible in most cases. All duplication work is performed or arranged by Archives and Research Collections staff. On occasion, duplication will not be done because of copyright restrictions or possible damage to the book or archival material. Each request will be decided individually, taking into account the nature of the item and its condition, the purpose for which the copy is required, the existence of surrogate copies elsewhere, and the method of reproduction to be used.

PHOTOCOPIES
Photocopy orders up to 50 pages are normally processed the morning after the day on which the order is placed, and can usually be collected by noon. In some cases, where less than 10 pages are to be copied and staff are available, the order may be processed by 4:45 p.m. on the day on which the order is placed. Please consult Archives and Research Collections staff regarding the completion period for larger requests.
