Series 1
Sound Recordings and Moving Images. – 1976-2001. – 334 audio cassettes. 2 video cassettes. – 1 cm of textual records. – Title based on content of series. – Text descriptions and numbers were already on most of the cassettes when they were received. The archivist has added numbers where required. – Dates and some text have been expanded silently. – Recorded material includes speeches, interviews and broadcasts. This series also contains textual records: audio cassette list, tape index book, indexes removed from a binder including a notebook and tape indexes. The information on these handwritten and printed lists varies in some cases from the cassette labels which are recorded below. Category headings come from the lists; they are not comprehensive. For example, some speeches will be found listed under other categories. The abbreviation SIHR is used for the Society for International Hockey Research. Transcripts of a few cassettes are found in Box 44.
